Hero's hero
It’s not a novelty that Gackt played a role in the movie “Moon Child”, but I’m going to tell you something new: before playing Moon Child he had another experience in the movie field:“HERO’S HERO” is the title of the historical documentary/play which he played in.
Gackt is the storyteller and he shows all his skill in acting, letting us enjoy his melodic voice ^__^ In the movie he’s a 642 years old librarian by the name of “Gackt”. A really nice girl plays with him. She was just 14 at the time (what a luck she had!!)and her name is Ishida Mirai (she kept her real name in the movie).
Gackt guides the girl through time travels following 3 heroes’ lives through the 3 books “hero’s hero” (a picture of Gackt lays on every cover ^__^). The 3 heroes’ lives, narrated by Gackt, are those of Masamune Date (a japanese samurai), Napoleon and Albert Einstein. He describes their energy, their existence, their way of living.
This work has been created to inspire young people. At the end of the movie you can listen to the music of Doomsday and parts of the Oasis’, Vanilla’s and Seki Ray’s PVs are showed.
The title “Hero’s hero” is due to the fact that Gackt narrates the life of his 3 heroes. This means that Gackt is the hero which tells us about his heroes! That’s simple, isn’t it?
The last words Gackt says are “And you, do you have your heroes?” Well, I’d answer; “Of Course!! You’re my hero!!!” :D
